Lymphedema Care

Our lymphedema services are designed to provide gentle, safe, and effective support for clients living with primary or secondary lymphedema, as well as those at risk. Using Manual Lymph Drainage (Dr. Vodder Method) and evidence-based techniques, sessions focus on reducing swelling, improving lymph flow, softening tissue, and enhancing overall comfort.

Care may include MLD, skin care education, fibrosis and scar-tissue work, and simple home techniques to help maintain results between sessions. I frequently support clients with:

  • Breast-cancer–related lymphedema

  • Risk of lymphedema after lymph node removal

  • Swelling from cancer surgery or radiation

  • Post-traumatic swelling

  • Chronic Venous Insufficiency (CVI)

Each session is tailored to your medical history, surgical background, and your body’s unique needs. My goal is to help you feel lighter, more mobile, and well-supported in your long-term lymphatic health.

Please note that massage therapists do not provide medical diagnoses. If you experience sudden or unexplained swelling, pain, or shortness of breath, please contact your physician or medical provider immediately.

The Video shows how indocyanine Green  (ICG) lymphography is used to visualize real-time lymph flow while a therapist performs Manual Lymph Drainage. It's an excellent demonstration of how gentle MLD techniques help redirect fluid, open functional pathways, and improve lymphatic movement. If you want to skid directly to the section where MLD is performed while the lymphatics are glowing under ICG imaging, start at 14:51.
