Manul Lymph Drainage -
Dr.Vodder Method

Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) was created by Dr. Emil Vodder and his wife, Estrid, who discovered that gentle, rhythmic skin-stretching movements could effectively stimulate lymph vessels, move lymph fluid and reduce swelling. Their pioneering work laid the groundwork for today's evidence-based lymphatic therapies, widely used for lymphedema, post-operative recovery, and chronic inflammatory conditions.
In my practice, I use based on foundational Vodder techniques: the Stationary Circle and the Pump techniques to gently guid lymph toward healthy drainage pathways and support safe, effective result.

THE PERRIN TECHNIQUE HAND ON ONLY
The Perrin Technique™ is an osteopathic approach developed in 1989 for ME/CFS that focuses on supporting the body’s natural detoxification pathways. It works by using gentle hand-on techniques to encourage the movement of toxins from the cerebrospinal fluid into the lymphatic system. From there, these toxins can enter the bloodstream and be processed naturally by the liver. As the strain on the central nervous system decreases, the hypothalamus and sympathetic nervous system may begin to regulate more effectively.
As a massage therapist, my role is strictly hands-on. I do not diagnose conditions, interpret medical findings, or recommend supplements. The Perrin Technique is most beneficial when clients are also working with a functional medicine doctor, osteopathic physician, or other qualified healthcare provider who can manage the medical aspects of their care.
