What is Lymphatic Massage Non-surgical ?

 

A very relaxing, nurturing, and supportive massage technique consisting 0f slow, gentle, and repetitive wave-like movements to: 

​

  • Improve fluid flow 

  • Reduce the body's "fight-or-flight" response to stress 

  • Speed up healing from injuries

  • Improve immune response

​

How long is the session and how many sessions do I need?

​

Length and frequency depends upon clients' focus and general health. Normally, I offer 30 minute, 1 hour, and 1 hour 30 minute sessions. Multiple sessions are recommended to see changes especially for detox or strengthen immune system.

What are the benefits Manual Lymph Drainage?

​​

  • Addresses some symptoms of autoimmune disorder (recommend primary physician approval before booking sessions) 

  • Eliminates or reduces positional edema, such as sitting in an airplane, car, or at a desk for extended periods at a time

  • Aids post-cancer recovery 

  • Promotes overall health improvement such as detoxification and reduced stress levels

  • To reduce pain: MLD alleviates tissue-fluid stagnation and inhibits nociceptors that trigger pain. It can be effective in dealing with chronic pain.
