Techniques & Healing Phases

In the first 1–4 weeks after surgery, I use very gentle Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) to reduce swelling and support healthy fluid movement. No deep pressure is used during this early stage.

From weeks 4–8, I may add slightly firmer work if your tissues are ready. This helps soften tight or firm areas and continue reducing swelling.

After 8 weeks, MLD is still used at the start and end of the session. If needed, I may include fibrosis work, scar tissue techniques, myofascial release, or gentle vacuum cupping to improve comfort and mobility.

Your treatment is always customized to your surgery and your healing.

If you have instructions from your surgeon, please bring them to your first visit.

Session Length & How Many You Need

Sessions are 60 or 90 minutes.
Most clients benefit from multiple sessions, depending on how many areas were operated on. Packages are available.

What to Expect

MLD is gentle and should never be painful. You may feel fluid moving or light pressure, but not deep massage.

Numbness or soreness after surgery is normal.

I do not push fluid out of incisions. If any incision is still open, please cover it and wait until it is healed before booking.

Please wear your faja or compression garment before and after the session. It helps control swelling, contain fluid, and prevent tissue from expanding. If your surgeon advised you not to wear compression, please follow their instructions.
