The Perrin Technique

Hands On Only

What Is the Perrin Technique?

The Perrin Technique™ is an osteopathic approach developed in 1989 for ME/CFS that focuses on supporting the body’s natural detoxification pathways. It works by using gentle hands-on techniques to encourage the movement of toxins from the cerebrospinal fluid into the lymphatic system. From there, these toxins can enter the bloodstream and be processed naturally by the liver. As the strain on the central nervous system decreases, the hypothalamus and sympathetic nervous system may begin to regulate more effectively.

As a massage therapist, my role is strictly hands-on. I do not diagnose medical conditions, interpret medical findings, recommend supplements, or perform spinal manipulation. My work focuses on gentle lymphatic, craniosacral, and soft-tissue techniques within the scope of massage therapy. Clients should continue working with qualified healthcare providers for medical evaluation and management.

This video explains how Dr. Perrin treats chronic illnesses such as myalgic encephalomyelitis and chronic fatigue syndrome with his technique designed to support the body's natural detoxification pathways.
